I planned the day with the story of Dolly and I taking my mother to the gardens because it was one of our favorite places and we thought see would like it. My mom was storing the ring for me so she snuck it to me and conveniently "went to the bathroom." We stopped on a bridge in the Chinese Garden and I popped the question. I even had our close friends hidding out taking photos to remember it!
This place makes me take a deep breath and say "ahhhhh" I could be there for hours and hours and I have :)
Art, flowers, grass, quiet. Bring a book and stretch out on the lawn for an afternoon of reading gazing at the gardens.
