Mark May:
MERRY CHRISTMAS
Fred Kerner:
And also to youse.
Someone, Ben, Mark, and Fred with 6 others at Heublein Tower
Fred Kerner:
If the earth was hurtling toward the sun, I don't think I'd grab a gun or a rope, I think I'd put my bathing suit on and climb the highest mountain I could.
Fred Kerner:
Or I'd play a lot of skyrim.
Fred Kerner:
i don't have xbox live.
Fred Kerner:
oh, all i can think about anymore is playing skyrim. my passport's staying until it can't anymore.
Ben Murphy:
I'm not sure I understand why everyone is rushing to delete their passport?
Colin Chorley:
I'm quite happy keeping the passport for as long as its there and available. If the export of data that Josh says actually happens then I would quite like to have that. If I delete the account then no guarantee of getting that export.
Ben Murphy:
personally, i'm still hoping for a miracle.
Awan Guntura:
I agree, Colin. I'm keeping mine, hope they'll export all of our 'memories' of Gowalla... specially the pins & photos.
Mark May:
Keeping mine till the end. They can pry if from hands.
Blake Marquette:
It would be nice if there was a way to export the data into a Google Earth file or something like that.
Blake Marquette:
Secondary thought, all the pins on the map could be the stamps and custom stamps, that way they would never die for those of us who loved them.
Fred Kerner:
i'm going through now and printing out all of the stamps that i visited, but also seeing all of the ones that were produced, and holy god, this was an amazing run. yeah, it's a lot austin centric, but there have been some true works of art produced with this app.
Robert Perez:
I'm still here and I am not leaving until they give me the boot!!!
Colin Chorley:
Nope, not a thing.
Ben Murphy:
don't hold your breath waiting for that data
Fred Kerner:
gowalla is probably the most frustrating company i have ever had the dilemma of falling in love with.
